About Malawi
Known as “The Warm Heart of Africa,” the small nation of Malawi is home to 21 million people and the spectacular Lake Malawi.
Malawi is among the world’s least-developed countries with a largely agricultural economy and few natural resources. Several languages are spoken, the most common of which is Chichewa, and the country is largely Christian in religion.
